I am 13 years old and raced in the Diamond Tri at Eton Dorney on 6 September. This was my first triathlon after joining Optima in May. It was a sunny day with little wind so I was hoping for a good time. I regretted wearing my wetsuit as the water was quite warm and it really slowed my transition down.But overall I was pleased with my result. The race was 200m swim, 5.5km bike and 2.25 km run. My time was 26:17 which meant I came 2nd of the girls in the Tristar 3 age group. I really enjoyed the day.
